I feel when Damon put his vocals on, and I put my backing vocals on – that’s what makes Blur Blur. All of the sudden, it’s like, ‘Woah, it feels like Blur’. But kind of extra like males. (…) I feel the voices are deeper, perhaps richer. There’s a wierd vulnerability, however there’s kind of a power. It’s an fascinating thing to be part of. But extraordinarily constructive. I assumed we have been getting on great – there was a lot of laughing within the studio, a lot of fooling around. We needed to snicker and be foolish as a result of it was intense. You’ve received to have occasions once you’re simply being an fool.
