I feel when Damon put his vocals on, and I put my backing vocals on – that’s what makes Blur Blur. All of the sudden, it’s like, ‘Woah, it seems like Blur’. But kind of more like males. (…) I feel the voices are deeper, perhaps richer. There’s a wierd vulnerability, but there’s kind of a power. It’s an fascinating thing to be a part of. But extremely constructive. I assumed we have been getting on nice – there was a lot of laughing within the studio, plenty of fooling around. We had to snigger and be foolish because it was intense. You’ve obtained to have occasions whenever you’re simply being an fool.
