Band will headline on the London stadium on 8 July for his or her 35th anniversary, supported by Slowthai, Self Esteem and Jockstrap
Blur have announced a one-off 2023 present to take place at London’s Wembley stadium on 8 July. Will probably be the long-lasting London four-piece’s first show since 2015 and first at Wembley; they will be supported by Northampton rapper Slowthai, acclaimed pop musician Self Esteem, and rising experimental pop duo Jockstrap. Although the group – frontman Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree – launched their debut album in 1991, 2023 marks 35 years since their 1988 formation.
“We actually love enjoying these songs and thought it’s about time we did it again,” Albarn stated in a press release. “I’m actually wanting ahead to enjoying with my Blur brothers again and revisiting all those great songs,” Coxon stated. “Blur reside exhibits are all the time superb for me. A pleasant guitar and an amp turned right up and loads of smiling faces.”
