“I spend all of my time with musicians, I don’t really hang around with other artists so up until this point I wasn’t conscious of who I used to be in the artwork world, what individuals considered my work. I hang out with musicians, often within the studio, and they're clearly there as a result of they’re excited to work with Damon and ultimately they turn to me and go “what do you do?” “I’m the opposite half!” so once I began to make use of social media I started to comply with artists that I like on Instagram and I began to get messages from them telling me “Oh I really like your work!” I began to get an concept of what different artists considered my work and it was really flattering.
We have been coming as much as 20 years of Gorillaz and I feel me and Damon spoke about how for much longer can we do Gorillaz for, is it attainable to maintain going?
