If I’ve discovered something from Oasis, it’s to not attempt to please everyone all the time. That’s what I’ve all the time admired about Liam; he’s a silly fool, but he doesn’t care. I did Prime Of The Pops with them once and he had a go at us for going into make-up and he was completely proper – you don’t want to enter fucking make-up. Once you start to realise basic items like that, you can begin to make music which is a little more… yourself.
