Steve Lamacq: You talked about James Ford, how fascinating was it to have somebody new and out of doors the camp in the studio with you?

Damon: It was good. The start, the one individuals I was actually really snug with working with in the studio was James (Ford), Graham and Sam. Because I simply thought “we need to begin this, I feel if we are all collectively…” You recognize, it’s been a long time. But they have been like “nah nah nah, we’d identical to to stay round, don’t need to do something, but do you mind if we stay”, which is completely truthful [laughs]. We have been like “yeah okay”.

Damon: No it wasn’t like that. Everybody was simply undoubtedly in the same area, so it was very easy to right away, literally day one, we started doing it as a band.
