On Barbaric: “It may be a few lost love or it may also be about all of a sudden and unexpectedly getting rid of melancholy. And even should you understand that love not exists, the belief is double-edged. As a result of it also means readability. And earlier than you ask: this very lonely Christmas, about which I sing in Barbaric, nicely, it actually occurred that approach. The songs are already fairly correct inventories of my life, I’m pretty open here on this album. Only typically the mysterious peeps around the corner.
On St. Charles Square: "I sing concerning the disagreeable experience of just lately finding myself in a hideous basement flat. I’ll spare you the small print, but I’m fairly clear in the music. I’m not going to be the primary or the final to screw one thing up and should cope with penalties.”
