I feel when Damon put his vocals on, and I put my backing vocals on – that’s what makes Blur Blur. Instantly, it’s like, ‘Woah, it feels like Blur’. But kind of more like men. (…) I feel the voices are deeper, perhaps richer. There’s a wierd vulnerability, but there’s kind of a power. It’s an fascinating factor to be a part of. But extremely constructive. I assumed we have been getting on great – there was numerous laughing within the studio, plenty of fooling around. We had to snigger and be foolish because it was intense. You’ve received to have occasions once you’re just being an idiot.
