Damon will tour South America with Africa Categorical for the first time. Extra dates to be introduced (?)

The Curse (The Magic Flute Part II)
The Curse (provisional title) is Damon’s new opera commissioned by Jean-Luc Choplin to compose the suite to Mozart’s The Magic Flute, imagined by Goethe after the good composer’s demise and by no means earlier than produced. We still don’t know is he’s doing just the music or singing as properly. He stated: “I’ll attempt to mix Goethe with club music. That’s my goal.”
It is going to open in October at LIDO 2 Paris. Tickets on sale in January.
Gorillaz
After finishing with the writing for the opera he will travel with Jamie to India to document a brand new Gorillaz album. (Damon was in LA earlier than Blur’ South America tour performing some ‘late-night music session’ with Honey Dijon, A$AP Rocky and EarthGang. He also recorded something in Argentina. Could possibly be for Gorillaz or could possibly be not)
He talked a bit about Gorillaz’ new course: “Will probably be a paradigm shift, it is going to be very totally different. It is going to be a completely totally different strategy to the whole lot — to the band, to all the things. We’re at some extent where we’re going to vary. Why? Because it was all the time just Jamie and I. Although it is a very huge factor now, it is still, in essence, simply two individuals. If we decided between us that we need to do something unrecognisable then we'll. You want that for it to stay alive, really.” - Damon.
And…. relating to Blur:
With the final show in Argentina the band went on an indefinite hiatus. There are not any plans for a new tour or album. Some festivals tried to e-book them and acquired the response: "Blur won't tour in 2024”. Then again, the Wembley exhibits have been professionally filmed. Earlier than that some followers have been interviewed by a filming crew on the warm-up gigs, so there is a documentary being labored on. We still don’t understand how or when it is going to be launched.
